3.How We Collect Your Information
We collect personal information directly from you when you: complete our online contact or enquiry form; make a booking through our website or via Halaxy; attend an appointment or consultation; communicate with us by phone or email; or provide a referral or intake form.
We may also collect information from third parties such as your referring GP, specialist, or NDIS plan manager, where you have consented to this or where it is necessary for your care.
4.How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to: provide psychological services and manage your care; process bookings and payments; communicate with you about appointments and services; comply with our legal and professional obligations as a registered health practitioner; submit Medicare or NDIS claims on your behalf where authorised; and respond to your enquiries.
We will not use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required or permitted by law. This may include: your treating GP or other health professionals involved in your care (with your consent); Medicare Australia or Services Australia for billing purposes; NDIS or your NDIS plan manager where applicable; and regulatory bodies such as AHPRA where required by law.
In limited circumstances, we may be required to disclose information without your consent — for example, where there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or another person, or where we are required to do so by a court order or other legal obligation.
6.Storage and Security
Your personal information is stored securely using Halaxy, a cloud-based practice management platform that complies with Australian privacy and health records legislation. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
Clinical records are retained for a minimum of 7 years from the date of last service (or until a minor client turns 25, whichever is later), in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
7.Your Rights
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request corrections if you believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. To make a request, please contact us at [email protected].
We will respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable timeframe. In some circumstances, we may be unable to provide access — for example, where doing so would pose a serious threat to health or safety, or where the information relates to legal proceedings.
